About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Client Principal to join our team. This role is pivotal in managing and growing key client relationships, ensuring long-term success and value creation. Reporting directly to the Head of Client Services, the Client Principal will serve as a strategic partner, driving commercial growth, fostering strong client relationships, and ensuring the highest levels of client satisfaction.
Client Relationship Management

Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, acting as their trusted advisor.

Lead strategic conversations to understand client needs, objectives, and challenges, ensuring alignment with Dootrix's solutions.

Work closely with client stakeholders to continually identify opportunities where we can add additional value

Ensure client satisfaction, retention, and long-term partnership success.
Commercial Growth & Strategic Planning

Drive commercial expansion within existing accounts, identifying opportunities for new projects and service offerings.

Collaborate with the Head of Client Services and leadership team to define and execute account growth strategies.

Develop business cases for expanding engagements, ensuring client ROI and long-term partnership value.

Negotiate contracts, renewals, and commercial terms to achieve mutual success for clients and Dootrix.
Engagement Oversight & Risk Management

Ensure successful delivery of engagements by working closely with internal teams to maintain alignment with client expectations.

Identify risks early, proactively addressing challenges to maintain a positive client experience.

Support teams in understanding client business goals to ensure effective and impactful project execution.
Leadership & Internal Collaboration

Act as a bridge between clients and internal teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment.

Work with cross-functional teams, including sales, delivery, and leadership, to support a seamless client experience.

Contribute to the refinement of Dootrix's service offerings based on client feedback and market trends.

Represent Dootrix at client meetings, industry events, and networking opportunities to enhance brand presence.
Qualifications & Experience
-
10+ years of experience in client services, account management, or a similar strategic role within a technology or professional services environment.

Proven track record of managing and growing enterprise-level client accounts.

Strong commercial acumen with experience in identifying and executing revenue growth opportunities.

Excellent relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage at all levels of an organization, including C-suite executives.

Strong negotiation and contract management skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with confidence in leading client discussions.

🤖 The Job.
R&D Lead (AI/Agentic).
Remote (UK based), with occasional meetups
Reports to: Chief Architect (with CTO oversight)
⚡️ The Mission.
Dootrix is leading the shift to agent-based computing. We're not just talking about the future, we're building it.
We’re looking for a hands-on AI R&D Lead to prototype next-gen intelligent systems and explore the edges of what’s possible with today’s agentic tooling.
This is a fixed-term role (12 months) with the potential to extend or evolve into something bigger as we scale our R&D function.
You’ll be embedded within our Architecture Guild, working solo but not alone, partnering closely with senior architects, feeding insights back into our R&D backlog, and sparking strategic conversations across the company.
🛠 What you’ll be doing.
- Research, prototype, and build POCs that explore the boundaries of agentic software development.
- Stay plugged into the latest LLM tooling, SDKs, APIs, and emerging platforms—bringing ideas to life fast.
- Develop internal and customer-facing demos that show the art of the possible.
- Contribute to technical blogs, vlogs, and the occasional roundtable or industry event.
- Work with our sales and consulting teams to create compelling AI-driven stories and artefacts for prospects.
🧠 The tech you’ll work with
You don’t need to tick every box, but you should be living and breathing in this space:
- LLMs and Agentic Frameworks: OpenAI APIs, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, LangChain, etc.
- Platforms: Azure (especially Azure AI), .NET (C#)
- AI Coding Tools: VS Code + Copilot, GPT-powered dev workflows, experimental IDE plugins
🔥 What we’re looking for
- A passionate maker who’s obsessed with the future of AI and agentic systems.
- Several years of software development experience (this is not your first rodeo).
- Deep curiosity and a bias for action, you love testing, tinkering, and turning ideas into things.
- Clear communication and a collaborative spirit, you’re as comfortable presenting a demo as you are building it.
- A sharp eye on the bleeding edge of AI, what’s launching, what’s worth exploring, and how it might matter.

- Ivory tower theorists.
- People not already playing with LLMs or agent frameworks.
- Anyone who isn’t hands-on. This role is about doing.
