Problem
The Electric Vehicle forecourts use multiple partners such as retail, banking and vehicle charging services.
GRIDSERVE needed to connect all of their partner IT systems and processes with their internal back-office systems to reconcile critical operational and customer data.
Also, GRIDSERVE wanted to collect and archive the data that they produced, in a way that would enable automation, data science and business intelligence.
Solution
As GRIDSERVE’S cloud technology partner, our aim was to work closely with GRIDSERVE and their suppliers, defining, implementing and ensuring best practice, security and governance standards to enable true multi-vendor delivery.
We delivered Datatrix, the cloud-native integration platform in Azure, it uses an ETL engine capable of ingesting, transforming and serving data from multiple hardware and software systems in real-time.
Datatrix’s ETL engine integrates natively with GRIDSERVE’S back office, pushing data directly into their core business IT systems, including Microsoft Dynamics 365.
We also enabled advanced data warehousing through the use of Azure Data Lake and Data Factory.
As a result GRIDSERVE use Datatrix, a comprehensive, secure, performant and highly scalable integration platform.
Outcome
We brought best-practice Azure deployment, governance and security to GRIDSERVE and its other partners, retailers and service providers.
The Datatrix platform that is fully automated, rapidly deployable to any region in Azure, proactively monitored and that requires no human interaction day-to-day to operate.
It enables a secure and reliable transfer of data with the quickest possible throughput. The details on a single charging session reliably pass through the system faster than industry benchmarks in an average of three seconds.
With help from our cloud experts, GRIDSERVE now can quickly update and restore the service, in the event of any operational problem, with no risk of data loss.
We are now providing GRIDSERVE with comprehensive cloud managed services to optimise their Azure spend, while also ensuring secure, efficient, and round the clock support to this business-critical platform.
