As 2021 draws to a close, it’s time to reflect on a year significantly affected by the ongoing pandemic. While the disruption and changes caused by COVID-19 have been dramatic, the continued hard work and positive attitude of the Dootrix team has allowed us to celebrate a year of significant growth.
Our year, like many others, has been underpinned by remote working and video meetings, but the team's continual drive for an inclusive and value-driven culture has welcomed new staff, partnerships and clients.
We have continued to build on our many years of application modernisation experience with several new clients trusting Dootrix to take them forward.
We are privileged to be working with the team at Care Friends, that is revolutionising social care recruitment and retention. We have been evolving their mobile app, helping them deliver high-quality candidates for social care companies through employee referrals. It is such a worthwhile and important sector to be working in.
Both iMeta and Retail Social have involved us in the critical early stages of bringing their products to market. Design and prototyping are vital ahead of investing in major engineering projects, especially in their Financial Services and Retail sectors.
Making new connections is always exciting and they join our established relationships, many of whom have made significant strides this year. This is especially true of Confused.com (confused.com). Our longstanding relationship with the providers of the UK’s first comparison platform for car insurance grows from strength to strength. The innovative culture that made them first to market is now driving their app modernisation agenda.
The award-winning combination of Surfers Against Sewage and Dootrix continued to bear fruit as the Surfers team continued on their mission of such global significance. The technology we deliver is a small, but important part of that story. We are pleased to be able to contribute.
2021 saw the continued growth of cloud consultancy in our portfolio of services. New relationships with GBGroup and Beazley have seen these Global Enterprise Clients benefit from: our approach, DevOps, Cloud Strategy and Cloud Governance. They join a growing list of major organisations such as Heathrow and Gridserve who benefit from our experience and expertise.
As a result of the team's hard work, we have continued our journey as a Microsoft partner, with triple gold accreditation. It is a partnership that has enabled the launch of our Azure-based data integration and liberation platform – Datatrix www.dootrix.com/datatrix/. Datatrix is live and operating for several major clients. We are excited to see this grow with more to follow in 2022.
While there is much uncertainty around as 2021 comes to a close. We trust in our clients, our partners and our team. We are looking forward to a positive 2022 of continued growth and success.
